Nobody Gets This In And Out Of The Medical Fraternity
I would have to say this has stunned everyone concerned or not that i have spoken to but i think i know why although the reason is utter bolloxio.
Apparently when you join a surgery these days you have to see a member of the staff that being the nurse apparently to discuss the medications you take, dubious to say why you need to do this but it seems that this is the way it works. I would have to imagine that the nurse would know some of the meds and not know a hell of a lot of the others, even my pharmacy didn't have a couple in stock because it would seem that i am the only epileptic in the village taking them ;)
Apparently they sent me a letter to tell me that they have removed me for not seeing the nurse to show the list of pills i take. They sent me a letter kicking me out of the Brownies but i honestly didn't receive it. They sent me the same mail again and this i did receive although i live in the Garden Flat of my house it went upstairs in the building so sick of these quacks that i said no not received this letter through my door either, not a lie it didn't go to my flat now did it but i did read the photocopy of the original and it is the nurse rubbish. Although allegedly i did make an appointment to see her and was a no show. The reason for this is that i did nothing of the sort, no appointment made from me to them.
Now this is a real hoot and i will lay these points about this surgery - hard to believe but true.
1. The nurse is in the surgery ONE DAY A WEEK - Yes seriously one day.
2. Practice Manager works from 10 - 2. Great job i would love a part time job at those hours.
3. Loads of receptionist's - This lot though dont think they know it all.
4. Nobody can get hold of them - NHS England tried and failed as have I
How can you run a practice with a practice manager there for those hours is madness. How can you make an appointment to see a nurse that works just one day a week - Ludicrous. Too many receptionists but these lot are busy telling me i have been removed. Not once did they say why, sorry one did and said i missed "Several" appointments - what several would they be??? I only joined it a moth ago and not made a single appointment because i never go to the doctor just get the pharmacy to fax my medications for them to do the script.
I was straight up and told them i left the other surgery under a dark cloud and reported them but did that affect me joining, apparently not but wondering if the two surgery's ganged up on me or told them of my high expectations. Obviously these expectations they can't reach either - Ya think? Well i will never know what they think so i can't answer that. Alternatively it could have been NHS England calling them that put the willies up them, who knows, not me for one?
Reading the horrible photocopied letter repeatedly sent to me there was no sign off with a name at all! Not sure i ever wrote an important letter without adding my name to it.
As said these surgery's are all the same. Duty of care to see a nurse are you kidding that is there one day a week - the other surgery may have been pants but all staff were counted and ready to inspect.
Liz Hilton - You have to wonder if this were a business how long it would last. Duty Of Care - What a joke.
