Were Things Better In Days Gone By, I Think So.

Love This Picture Its Of Emilie Autumn

I once wrote a post and it was called why not join the OFC which stand for The Old Farts Club which i am most definitely a member of. I know that there have been some wonderful inventions that we all have and use today, one being the smart phone and a laptop but these things have done dreadful things to most peoples eye sight. The games that children play on such as Play Station and X-Box i am sure they are great fun but are dreadfully expensive if you buy the new one out which once bought you have to buy the games that are meant for the new version, you can't use your old games on it which of course is business but a bit of a swizz.

What with it coming up to that time of the year known as Christmas we all know that people usually with children tend to max out their cards and I know it is just once a year but it really isn't clever to get yourself in this position of spend, spend, spend but we all have done at one time or another, which is fine if you have the money to do so but to get yourself into dept i don't agree with.

So many things i remember that were better than they are today and nobody had expectations like they do now. But i hope that one day people don't go mad buying things that they don't really need they just want and the old way of having to keep up with the Jones' is just that a thing of the past.

Want to wish you all a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year and that all that you wish for comes true. All that you can or should wish for is that you are all happy and healthy because without good health you have nothing and good health is something money just can't buy although if you do have money it can make things easier for you if you need not to use the NHS but private health care unfortunately most of us have to rely on the NHS and that is a whole other post.

Liz - Things ain't what they use to be but you have to move with the times, or do you?
